I've learnt how to stop dreaming like I'm in a fairytale story. I've learnt how to stop thinking about the future. I've given up hoping.

#8 - Overdue Overseas Trip

안녕! Sorry for the long overdue post. Was busy and lazy to get my ass back to blogging. So the previous March holidays, I went for my first overseas trip with my high school buds, All the way to HongKong! :) It was a 5d4n trip and hell the weather there was awesome!!!

Of course, firstly we had to get our air tickets which we purchased back in January and then settled our itinerary and stuffs by end of February to March. Who says we no need itinerary when we head overseas although it's a free and easy trip?! And we countdown and countdown untill ........
........
13th April!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our check in time was 4am in the morning (heck yeah very the chor i know) but still we had to. So we did all the check in procedures and blablabla till 6.05am and tadahhhhhh, we boarded the plane! I managed to watch sunrise on our way to HongKong ^-^. For now, i'll let the pictures do the talking.

Day 1, 13th April

So after 4 hours of flight, we've finally reached our destination! After getting our luggages from the belt, we went outside to get our Sim Card. The ones we bought was just plainly data plan because we think that we won't have any use for calls. Next we went to have our lunch and head to our place by the express train and then the MTR all the way to Yau Ma Tei.
We've touched down!

@ the express train to Tsing Yi

After reaching our place, we headed out to Mongkok and walked to the famous sneakers street (Fa Yuen Street). Ohmy ohmy, that streets is really filled with shoe brands like Nike, Adidas, New Balance and other brands. So we walked till it was about 5 and headed to the peak via the MTR. The MTR in Hongkong is very common and it's easily accessible as well!!!

On our way to the Peak!

We've reached the Peak Tram Terminus!
Upon reaching The Peak Tram Terminus, we went to queue for tickets in order to get to the peak. Yup, it's a must to get tickets in order to get there. Then we waited for the tram to get us up to the peak :)b
Taking the tram up to the peak!

The Peak! The city lights are beautiful right? :)
The Peak 2015!

It was chilly up at the Peak and we watched the city lights of HongKong at 16 Degrees! Yes, you heard it right! We conquered the coldness at 16 degrees with all the cold air being blown to us! Then we went to have our late dinner nearby at Tsui Wah Restaurant and head back to our place.

Day 2, 14th April 2015
| Ngong Ping 360 // Citygate outlet // Causeway Bay |

Based on the itinerary that we had, 2nd day was supposed to be our shopping day but ended up, we went for another adventure :P So we had our breakfast @ Mido Cafe which was near our place before heading to CityGate outlet @ TungChung. We headed to Citygate at first but all the shops wasn't open yet and we happened to see the direction to taking a cable car to Ngong Ping Village... which means, an impromtu adventure for us! So we decided to queue up for the cable car tickets to Ngong Ping Village and we chose the Crystal Cabin!

After finish touring around the village, we took the cable car back and went back to CityGate Outlet but left soon as there wasn't anything much at the outlet. Next, we went to causeway bay. Causeway Bay in HongKong is just like Singapore's Town area. We went to places like Hysan Place, Time Square and other malls and spent our time there and then headed back to our place for a rest.

Day 3, 15th April
| Ocean Park |

Headed out to Australian Dairy Farm for our breakfast and damn, it was yummy (for us at least). Their toasts, Macaroni and Ham and Iced Milk Tea!!  But maybe because we could speak in canto, we had a laugh with the waiters there hahaha. After breakfast, we went to Ocean Park :)

Yes, we took this cray ride!!!
Caught this beautiful sunset :)

After everything, we went back to Yau Ma Tei and decided to head to Temple Street since it was near our place. Thereafter, we headed to the HongKong's famous dessert shop that pops up... HECK YES HUI LAU SHAN!!!!!! *inserts yummy icon*

Day 4, 16th April
| Tsuen Wan // Macau // |

As planned in our itinerary, we decided to go for one more last adventure instead of staying in HongKong - Yes, M A C A U!!!!!!! :-) Went to Tsuen Wan for breakfast and then head to the ferry terminal to get our tickets to Macau! Walked around The Venetian then headed to Galaxy Hotel and then to Ruins of St. Paul before heading back to HongKong and went back to Mongkok to get some more stuffs.

Day 5, 17th April
| HongKong // Singapore |

Woke up early and went for our breakfast. Wanted to head back to Australian Dairy Co but the queue was too long and we were too hungry :( From Jordan, we went back to Mongkok to get our last minute stuffs before lugging all our luggages back to the airport. Our flight back initially was supposed to be 6.45pm but ended up there was a delay and reached Singapore only at 11+ close to 12ish.

Just like that, it was the end of my first overseas trip with friends. Looking forward to more trips but first, save moolehhhhhhhhh.
